Biography

Katie Mitchell is an established storyteller with a background in tech and adventure production. She has spent the past eight years traveling extensively seeking to understand the intercultural purpose that sharing stories fulfills. During this time, she served as the executive producer of four community-focused podcasts and created an international ambassador program for long-distance hikers.

Through these ventures, it became clear that her talent lies in connecting niche narratives to audience interest. So, she united this interest with scholarship and returned to CSU to pursue a master’s degree in researching storylistening and narrative theory. Mitchell earned her bachelor’s degree at CSU and has completed coursework toward an M.A. in Media and Communication Sciences at the Technische Universitat Ilmenau, in Germany.
