Biography
Rejaul Haque (Reja Haq) was born and raised in Bangladesh. He is a Ph.D. student and graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Journalism and Media Communication at CSU, where he currently teaches strategic writing and communication.
Haq recently completed his M.A. in Communication Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where his thesis was titled “Mental Health Challenges and Resilience Among International Graduate Students in the United States.” He wants to work at the intersection of health communication, media, and strategic communication.
Haq holds a B.S.S. (2009) and M.S.S. (2010) in government and politics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He has a great deal of experience (15 years) in journalism as a reporter in Bangladesh. Haq was a top business reporter, mostly covering the country’s graft-ridden banking and financial sector with some of the most hard-hitting investigative reports. After completing his Ph.D., Haq is interested in joining a university as a faculty member.
