Biography

Jesse is an award-winning, and Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker and video producer. Over the course of her career, she has produced a diverse array of marketing, PR, and educational content for various organizations such as PBS, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the National Park Service, and CSU.

Since 2018, she has been a member of the faculty in the Journalism and Media Communication Department, where she instructs a range of courses, both in-person and online. Her teaching portfolio includes Video Editing, Visual Communication, the Rocky Mountain PBS Video Production Workshop, Senior Capstone, Media and Society, and Professional Communication.  She has also led teams of undergrad and graduate students in the production of multiple documentaries for the Colorado Film Commission.

Jesse holds a B.S. in Multimedia Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University and an M.S. in Public Communication and Technology from Colorado State University.
