Study the foundations of live event video and audio production in the performing arts and sports spaces. Gain experience in all aspects of live production including directing, camera and audio operation, lighting, and streaming/distributing techniques.
Classes in the minor are designed to cover theory while also providing hands-on experience in:
- Video and audio production
- Social media
- Web design
- Motion graphics
- Theatre lighting and sound
Classes from seven College of Liberal Arts departments are represented in this interdisciplinary minor, open to students from any major. Students have the option of joining RAMProductions, a group that has produced more than 330 videos for the colleg, with nearly 1000 subscribers and over 500,000 views.
